Restructuring & Revitalization (R&R)
R&R used to be the buzz-word of the mid 90-ies. We´re totally convinced that the need for it, together with a specific interest in "vertical integration", will decidedly have to re-appear within the near future, in response to the rapidly changing markets.
The process is all-embracing and starts quite logically with the company´s mission, basic strategic goals etc., and includes delayering, assessment of key-personnel, re-design of all positions, processes, production and sales systems, communication channels, internal & external PR, marketing etc., whereby the relevant HR issues (e.g. rewarding system, motivation & stabilization programs etc.) are covered, as well. An integral and inseparable part of the process consists in executing the post-implementation analysis, including design of subsequent remedial measures.
Since 1990 we have handled appr. 60-70 such projects, in SMEs (120-150prs.) till large companies (15.- 17000prs.), with yearly turnovers reaching USS 1,0 - 400mio, respectively. To reveal precise cost saving rate, profit enhancement etc. would be difficult and partly even unprofessional in such a concise overview. A considerable part of the firms in questions have remained within the portfolio of ours, either for the sake of continuous co-operation, or on "ad-hoc" basis.
