A thorough discussion may also reveal that:
- basics of the problem lie in something quite different
- the current state of affairs (e.g. personnel, financial resources, overall atmosphere, time aspects and power structures etc.) in your firm as you´ve depicted it can be solved only with great difficulty or is totally unsolvable
- the solutions at hand are completely unattainable or inapplicable, or, simply said:
- our opinions differ basically or we´re simply not on the same wave-length.
However, even these findings in themselves are important enough.
